Are we there yet?

I think that time as we know it takes a whole new dimension when it comes to Pesach. The week and a half I was away from home feels like over a month. Wierd.

I drove to my parents for the second half; not a short drive. True to stereotype, my 4-year old son would ask “are we there yet?” or “how much longer?” every six minutes. It’s funny though, when we’d respond “3 ½ or fours hours more”, he’d think it was a choice. As the driver, I wish.

The worst part of that mid-pesach drive is there is nothing good to eat...

I used to take a huge thermos of coffee with me, but I couldn't find it this year.

i took a huge thermos of coffee when we went skiing. By the end of the trip, i felt like i never wanted to see coffee again. (feeling didn't last long though.)

By the way, thanks for your compliment the other day. I know you got me started.

I remember that coffee thermos. I smelled it for 4 hours (for those short moments that I emerged from my "Curb Your Enthusiasm" marathon)

I've just recently discovered her. It's definitely interesting finding blogers who were in the same place at the same time. Who knows, maybe we all hung out together in the Plaza one Succos night? I have a feeling she lives near me too.
Let the investigation begin...

This has nothing to do with anything you posted about. Just wanted to say hello; that I've popped in to visit (found you via air time's blog). I looked back at your earliest posts and found something almost in sync with my blog -- I started my blog on December 15, 2004, and in one of that day's posts I also made reference to reading Seraphic Secret, and that sort of being the impetus to my starting a blog. (I've referred to it several times since in my blog) I noticed that a few days later, you mention it on one of your earliest posts as well.

I think we are not the only bloggers to feel the impact of Robert Avrech's heartfelt writing. You described it well in that post.

Tonight I'm "just passing through" but do note that I will pop by again!

ahhh, ChronoPearl, and I've been quietly reading your blog for some time now. Thanks for stopping by!
I've notice links between you and Seraphic. If I remember correctly, he linked to you and that's how I found you.
